About Us

EQ counseling center is founded by Dr. Yung-Lung Chen. Through his years of counseling and research experience in university, community centers and clinical settings, both in the US and in Taiwan, Dr. Chen has served many clients from various cultural and ethnical backgrounds. In terms of his clinical application, he is a believer of effective research-based interventions to help clients to cope with emotional difficulties, interpersonal relationship issues and family issues. At the same time, he appreciates and acknowledges each person’s individuality, and is dedicated to work with you to meet your goals. Counseling has become fairly common in the US and other western countries. Upon his return to Taiwan, he saw the lack of counseling services and decided to open up EQ Psychological Counseling Center to help more people.
